FOCUS
FOCUS optimizes all orders in the system and makes use of new production as soon as it becomes available. It can run one or more times daily. Major features of FOCUS are:
Avoidance of undesirable balances
Combination of cuts on stock to consume a roll whenever possible and desirable:

Automatic assignment of backorders
Allowance for unmeasured balances and for potential loss between multiple cuts on a roll:
