Student Java Developer

The Job:
Implement J2EE, Swing, Relational Databases, and related technologies to advance the current version of FloorWizard, as well as help build the next major release. Responsibilities will vary from designing user friendly interfaces, developing efficient back end server solutions, working with hardware interfaces, assorted general IT tasks, and deploying our software.

Challenges:
Turn out software patches to help customers in hours, blowing the doors off traditional response times of other companies.
Make applets do things Sun and O’Reilly say they can’t.
Be responsive and be prepared to spread your development across many tasks simultaneously.
Address unique issues demanding research from technical and business perspectives.

What we’re looking for:
A current college student enrolled in a computer science, information technology, or related field
Exposure to programming in general, the following is preferred:

Java
Object Oriented Design
Web Applications
Relational Databases

Self motivation and a strong desire to better your own abilities
Strong general computing experience
